A few years ago, the most difficult experiences I had were preceded by very
intense surrender and symbolic deaths. It began with a completely spotaneous
surrender that was completely alien to me in the kind of life I'd had
before, and was followed with a very intense dream where I was shot and then
allowed myself to die again. Over and over and over again, each death
changed the reality. I've had a few symbolic deaths since then too, but
lately, say the last 6 months or so, it has been much more about
birth/rebirth in actual and symbolic forms.
