In Tantric practice, the woman is dominant, active and the man is
passive, receiver. This is a reflection of the Shiva Shakti play as
Shiva is the presence of Consciousness, the platform on which Shakti
dances as the power of cosmic energy.

When a woman embodies Shakti she is pure power indeed and can be
startling for a man to observe and experience in the beginning.
