I've had this for a long time as well. When I close my eyes and focus on
Ajna, I see red. It's just the chakra slowly awakening. Push it, keep your
attention there and one day it'll open. Some people may disagree, but I can
tell you from personal experience, that this is how it opens.

I sometimes see a light in meditation and have had visions with a lot of K
flow, nothing to be worried about. Always remind yourself when it happens
how boring it is. Why does everyone get excited when they see a light ? I
just see it as a distraction, simply carry on, it's no big deal. It's the
mind that is getting excited, and that's what caused you to seek in the
first place. No difference in that way between watching television and a
vision.

I have been twitching for years btw, but only when I put the awareness thus
the energy there. In fact my head starts shaking after a while, which I
think allows the energy to flow freer through the the neck which always
seems to be blocked.

I am not scared by the twitching any longer, rather I find it fascinating
and know that one day it'll help my path when the chakra does open because
that will be the right time, there is never a wrong time.

Seek everywhere and nowhere. It does'nt really matter. What does matter is
that you feel comfortable with them, as soon as if they try to coerce you
into doing something you don't like or they cause you some kind of pain
stand up and complain and walk away, don't put up with it. When you know
something of your own divinity, then you can feel it and attract it in
others so you won't have this problem. Simply do your research beforehand,
I think that's pretty obvious.

Remember a Guru is just a voice to you, nothing more. It's like picking up
a telephone and ringing up Self.
