Hi Lyndon,

Is this new onset or a chronic state for you? We can all expect to cycle
through these states as kundalini house cleans through the emotional
bodies but it is not meant to be a chronic state.

It is not unusual to feel as you do, in fact, it is down right normal.
You might look at your surroundings and the people around you. Do they
have a positive outlook on life or are they negative and empty? Since
you work in a helping profession people will unconsciously or
subconsciously try to live off your energy.

Do you take time for yourself to be outside and/or take a little retreat
to rejuvenate yourself? Do you know you are connected to All That Is as
your source or do you operate on your own personal energy in your
sessions with people? That makes a big difference.

You might consider drawing a bath and putting a pound of epsom salts or
sea salt in the water and sit for awhile. That will help cleanse you.

I know you don't feel like thinking positively but can you fake it until
you make it? You can move out of this. :) Who heals the healers? :) Go
get a massage or get some energy work. Hug a tree or stand near a
waterfall.

Is feeling low and just, urggh not good inside a typical effect of
kundalini? Am I just meant to grin and bear this, or is it a sign that
there are emotional issues that need to be dealt with? i.e. is there
something that I can do?

I'm not suicidal or anything like that, but each day is something of a
struggle. It's like having a cold, an "emotional cold" perhaps. It's
annoying more than anything. I dont' feel like being around people, I
feel sensitive and reserved, i have zero motivation, I dont' want to
leave my room, but don't particularly enjoy being in my room. It's like
there's no escape from this low level listless / depressed state of
mind.
