Hey!

I have music in my head too, not ALL of the time, but very often, it's
started to clear out a bit recently. I never thought much about it, wheter
it was K or not, for the simple reason that I'm a musician, I work with
music for a living, I breathe, eat and drink music, so why not have it
playing in my head too? =)

Not only that, but all my dreams, especially lucid dreams, have very
majestic soundtracks along with them, perfectly scored, infinitely tight
with every visual cut in the dreamscape.. Just thought it came with being a
musician.. Lately, since it appears that most people do NOT have soundtracks
in their dreams, I thought it could have something to do with being K awake
and being a musican, hehe..

I have absolutely no idea wheter it has anything to do with K or not, but
personally it doesn't feel like it. Possibly, K can make it clearer, more
vivid, as the conciousness perceives the deeper states more vividly.

Are you a musician yourself? Or someone who enjoys music a lot?

If you find it annoying, there are ways to deal with it.. Just get the mind
used to some music you feel has a good effect on you.. I have mantras and
kirtans going on in my head all the time, I let them blossom and do whatever
they want. Feels great! Sometimes I see different images of goddesses
dancing around in colorful formations with music too, or animals. Absolutely
hilarious. I just let it be, let the show go on. =)

I feel it can also be another thing... It's very simple. Something inside
you is trying to tell you to sing more. Out loud. Like a child, I make up
songs as I go.. When I clean up the cat litter box, I sing about cleaning
the cat litter box.. In the woods, i can sing about the trees and flowers..
Or if there are no words, I just let the music come without words, as
whistling, humming, or whatnot..

Music can definitely be a kriya, and music has profoundly helped me through
some pretty frustrating stages in my life, inkluding awakening experiences.

Definitely, if you feel there is resistance. Sing. Don't resist the music.
Music is medicine.. Ah.. I am getting carried away here! Must.. go and
sing! See ya later!

With love
Gustaf

Hi,

Just a quick question: I have music in my head all the time, even when
I'm meditating. It's there all the time. I hear a tune it sticks in my
head for the next hour. And I seem to automatically / unconsciously
select tunes based on my mood and then play them over and over
continuously, i.e. a song will just pop into my head and stay there.

Other people don't seem to have this, at least not to the degree that I
do. And I'm wondering if it is a symptom of K, and if so, is there
anything that can be done about it? I feel it's my mind resisting.

Regards,
L
