I agree with Terril, awakening the kundalini is a serious thing. You should 
not try to awaken it for trivial matters. And you should not try to awaken 
it, it will awaken in its own good time, provided you are meditating. You 
should simply focus on your spiritual practices whatever they may be, and 
let God take care of your kundalini. I also recommend reading Autobiography 
of a Yogi.
