Experience is the key word. Going beyond what you "think" you know, were told, were taught, learned, etc. to the pure experience of yourself in the world. Whether you call it God or no God or nothingness or spirit etc, it is just pure experience without the mind making judgements. Well, I should correct that and say that the mind will always continue to make judgements because that is how it functions. It does its thing and always will. But if one bypasses the mind and all its endless questions and judgements, and just experiences life from a beginner's heart each moment, we realize we can never really grasp the entire truth, only a perspective of the truth through the filter of the mind. This releases a lot of tension because there is a recognition of how silly it is that the mind/ego blows itself way out of proportion and plays this role where the universe revolves around it and its perspective of how things are, which is basically some form of attachment.

So, to me its kind of like experience is true, but when you try to do something about it like talk about it, write about it, figure it out, then it gets warped through the filter of the mind. Which is fine, though, because if we start piecing all those perspectives together, then we're getting somewhere. So my viewpoint is that we need all viewpoints to get a whole picture. Problem is when we don't want anyone to have a different view than ours. But we're all at different levels of growth and what is true at one stage might change at another as one removes blocks to awareness. Just part of the path.

I respect all paths. They all bring learning and experience. Who am I to judge what one needs to learn or experience in their life? No need to argue about God or no God. If its working for you and your learning, then follow it and be happy. If it isn't, and you are searching, that's part of the path too of discovering your true nature. It can be as scary as that first day of school, leaving mommy. But its exhilarating and exciting to discover you're on this magical journey, like a treasure hunt. Sure, there's a lot of bumps and bruises along the way. But its a fairy tale written just for you, and you get to be the star of the show. Its an inward journey one has to make alone. And accepting that everyone sees and experiences a little differently opens up to acceptance and peace. If we were meant to be the same, then we'd be a bunch of robots. How boring.

Ultimately, the path is going inward, not outward, because it is only there one will find their true spiritual nature revealed. Kundalini gets one focused inward to the truth about themselves. Saying all this, doesn't mean I'm against religion. But that is where there can be a problem-if it has you focused outside of yourself to find the truth somewhere out there. Ultimately, there has to be a turn inward.
