in the years when i was
there were times when
i knew that it would occur
at those times of morning

i would know that it would
and it still does even though
i do not base my foundation
upon those times of change

it is true that they woke then
because we are asleep and
unaware of it. i wunderstand
about that curiosity burns

up for the self or me
