That is exactly how the K is supposed to function.
goes up from the back and comes down from the front. Each cycle causes your
brain to change in a moment what it takes ordinarily thousands of years to
evolve.
the first chakra it passes through is the ajna chakra,, and this phenomenon
is famously known as piercing the ajna. In fact that is exactly how many
yoga systems are taught , that the disciple imagine shakti going up and down
shiva.
It has been said that if you do not let this energy on iits way down go
beyond the nauli chakra, or actually its absorption in the anahta chakra
opens up the doors to many siddhis. I would not like to belabor on this due
to possibility of misusing by anyone else, as this is a public list. but
obey what your heart tells you for that is the best for you. If you , by
will, absorb this energy at your heart and it sort of gives you immense
satisfaction of a particular kind (that I cannot describe by words) then you
will know what to do.
