I used to have dreams that I did something very similar to this, especially
during my childhood.. But it was a doorhandle.. I "knew" that if I turned
the doorknob (or even something silly such as a tool laying on a table)
everything as I knew it would end.. It didn't mean death or torment or
anything like that.. But the feeling in those dreams were extremely
overwhelming. Everything as I knew it would end. Everything..

And.. I always did it. I always grabbed the door handle, pressed the button
or whatever else it was, and woke up very frightened. At the same time
frustrated because I never got to find out what really happened..

Obviously there were other meanings for those dreams, too, probably much
more 'normal' meanings, but still, it's kind of interesting.

I am one who would push the red button. In fact it was my expressed
desire eliminate all that stood between God and me that led me to
awakening in the first place. One gets what one prays for, just not
necessarily on one's preferred schedule. And frequently one is shown the
mountaintop before traversing the path to its peak. Always good to read
you David.
