The 'Red Button" question is just a personal term
I've endeared
for an age old question
often asked in varying forms:

If there were some mythical red button
available to you
that you could press anytime
that would instantly 'eject' you into
all encompassing and limitless GodHead
(i.e. the experience that separates you from God is destroyed)

would you press it?

You'd have to 'give-up' all your worldly crap
(relationships, bills, pleasure, body, disease, etc.)

Surprisingly, I've discovered in my lifetime here
that most folks would not press it.

I on the other hand am one of the minority that would.

I'm not really interested in the majority here at present
that wouldn't press the Red Button
(as I've heard that perspective before quite readily)

I'm more interested in hearing the folks
who are of the minority
(like myself)

who'd press the red button,
and why...?

And I don't mean those of you
who are depressed
or in some type of unbearable physical pain either.

I am addressing the very few folks
who are quite content and happy
that *would* press the button...

Love David
(Red Button Pusher)
