Cheers!

Re: mental fog, yes, I find myself like that especially as my work focuses
on technical details a lot.

I find sometimes my attention wandering on totally irrelevant things whilst
in discussion sometimes. It can be hard to stay focussed.

I ask what is the focus? The discussion, the other person or group, the
sounds of the words, the feelings in the room or being sent out by the
others? Too many mental concepts and ideas just make me dizzy these days.
There was a time I could manage this easily and had what I thought was
insightful discussion.

It may be wise to focus on the nothing, the empty within but is that
suitable in a room full of people who want to socialise or discuss what they
feel is important. Sometimes yes!

So considering how to clear the mental cloud, maybe others have some good
suggestions?

For me, sometimes I find myself sleeping with it (and waking with it). Other
times I can just empty enough stuff to see and feel clearly. I mean to see
things without bubbling thoughts and judgements. Feeling and seeing as one.

I may suggest don't fight the 'cloud' .. let it be and experience it and
love it for it's cloudiness. It may be just cluttered thoughts looking for a
way home.
