The stench of divorce fills the room
silence cringes
like a burning moth
wings flap
feeding flame
wax drips
drops
as he fiddles with a heavy metal puzzle;
anger embedded
deep
separated.
she drifts off to an island mind place,
dreaming
two shadows bump in the night
then
split
like lava lamp stuff
history archived and lost
what is time?
it stretches,
can it break?
If not now,
At some future point?
Such is ghost matter, mattering
like glitter,
thank god,
thank the Buddha
nothing here matters
