No no, that's not what I meant. =) I learned it as "soo" is always the in
sound, and "ham" is the outsound.. Contract your throat slightly, then
breathe and you will see.. "Sooooo" will naturally form when you breathe in,
and "hammmm" will naturally sound when you breathe out.. Wheter you then
perceive it as SoHam or HamSo doesn't matter though. =)

When one drum beat follows another does it matter which one came first
:)

least that's the way I was taught when I learned Ajapa Japa (Which is
the
breath of prana in the spinal passage) But maybe this is another way of
doing it =)
