Hi Ranbir,

I find the fingers can help me tune in on some thing, help focus (when at a
loss of certainty or clarity) and also form energy circuits.

Sometimes I hold mudras without always noticing. Perhaps in a way like
gesticulating but more subtler. In a crowd I may do a certain finger
(normally next to smallest finger) to thumb combination to keep my attention
inwards and centred.

When communicating I occasionaly find myself holding certain hand
positions... Helpign to focus and talk something reasonable and relevant
(for a change ;) ).

I was trying to find a reference to this. I've noticed on some Buddhist
statues how the position of the fingers may signify specific qualities, such
as protection or compassion.

This was about the best reference I could find.
