by the way, if you are interested in the scottish rite degrees, get a copy of MORALS AND DOGMA by albert pike. written for initiates.

  i thought the other 3 degrees in freemansonary (from 31 to 33) were
  the elite of the elite degrees to get.....thats geting into white
  house shit then isn't it?



  VMANN: in regular masonry, called the 'blue lodge,' there are only three degrees, the entered apprentice, the fellowcraft, and the master mason. then you can either do york rite or scottish rite. scottish rite is the one that goes up to 32 degrees. but yeah, if you are in the 'who's who' of the elite, you can be initiated into the 33rd degree.
