Hi,
1.. What role do you think Kundalini plays in "The
Great Awakening" everyone is talking about?
Kundalini awakening, in my perception, is the blending of the non-physical me and the physical me; sort of speak. K has raised my sense of joy, increased my awareness of my guidance system, opens me up to some useful skills that I'd never knew how to have on my own, and more. Actually the benefits of K awakening are beyond descriptions for me.

Kundalini awakening is a process of understanding and becoming one with the true self, and indeed it is leading me to a great awakening.
I want to say here something that is very important to me. There is no one way or one experiences for every one. every one has his or her own very unique experiences depending on his/her intentions and life experiences. People usually try to make some statistics out of everything but there no need for statistics when we know that we are our own creators for this life experiences and if something is happening to every body on earth it doesn't have to happen to me.

2. Do you feel you are a better person because of
your K. experiences?

According to my intentions for this life; yes I feel I am on the right path.

   1. What role do you think Kundalini plays in "The
Great Awakening" everyone is talking about?

Is there a "Great Awakening"? I haven't actually heard ?anybody? talking
about it. I do see it discussed on this list occasionally, as well as
elsewhere on the web. I hear a lot more discussion of great slaughter, great
injustice, great hideous conspiracies, etc. Most people I hear are talking
about their new giant car, their new giant house, their new giant hair-do,
etc. All their fabulous new personal possessions, mostly provided by an
underclass of virtual slave-laborers. Kundalini plays a role in all of this,
of course, but most people are either ignorant of it, fighting against it,
or simply ignoring it. I think only a very small percentage of people are
"Awakened" to much beyond the desires of their own craven egos. There are
exceptions, but they are relatively few. Probably all of the relatively
enlightened people have been strongly affected by Kundalini, although they
may not be aware of it as such. Kundalini is virtually unheard-of. Perhaps
best known as a character in the original "Mad Max" movie- "Kundalini wants
  his hand back".

  2. Do you feel you are a better person because of
  your K. experiences?

Better than what? I'm sort of different than I used to be. I'm a lot more
like I am now, than I used to be. It's hard to put a qualitative judgement
on this without having the ego spin wildly out of control. Perhaps I notice
my rage, anger, hatred, resentments, etc., more quickly as they arise. I can
usually laugh, and heckle my ego into submission. For, who am I to judge?
Indeed, who am I? I hesitate to say that I am a "better person", but I feel
an intense gratitude for this life, this endless series of choices.

I hope you're not insulted by my reply- no disrespect was intended. Yet,
I have to say, I didn't like your questions. They are leading questions,
with their own built-in answers. "Yes, we're all so bloody enlightened now,
aren't we special?" Ever notice how wealthy people sometimes behave as if
everybody were wealthy- "What, you don't have a personal trainer? You've
really got to get one!" (This to the Hispanic maid). It sometimes happens
that we project our desires onto the world to the extent that the fantasy is
mistaken for reality. A positive outlook is commendable, but with a
projected positive fantasy mistaken for reality, there's really no need to
work toward improvement, eh? I realize that my response is fully submerged
in the muck of duality, but, from a non-dual perspective, there is no need
for awakening, or better persons, or questions, or answers. And you asked...
So there ya have it- a resoundingly dualistic double negativo. The whole
world is knee-deep in rising shit and nobody has a snorkel. I'm sorry if
this isn't the answer you might have wanted. But look- If I didn't love you,
I wouldn't have bothered to type this response. Your positive outlook is
refreshing. Your naiveté is alarming. So, continue to hope and dream and
learn and grow. And don't listen to me if you don't want to. I'm really not
very wise at all. Ah, there, I feel more gruntled already. Michael
