Thanks for that Melissa,

I can't see the chakras and energy coming in as you can, I can however smell
others people energy like perfume. (I know when a certain person is thinking
of me because I can smell them, I can even smell their energy level too
strange!, a possible side discussion maybe)

But the point I was really trying to make goes much deeper,
We are all connected, either, physically, physically or spiritually,
So are past lives really lives we have lived in the past or are they
residual emotions from someone else we are connected to?

I suppose the less ego driven we become the greater the link between
ourselves and others becomes apparent, I was just wondering if there was
some method whereby others that have not reached this state can be helped
from going in the wrong direction (i.e. trying to heal something that's not
there).

turns out that he had a past life >experience where he was asked to
sacrifice his son. He said that he'd gone through various steps to deal
>with it with I'd obviously connected with residual emotional stuff
