If this is something you yourself have been experiencing, it would be more
helpful for you and us if you were to tell us about that in your own words,
even clumsily, rather than appealing to the most skillful words of some
other person.

I know there are many powers and interesting states of mind that people can
find in the course of their development, and I'm here because I'd like to
experience more of that. But I've also been told, in one source after
another, that none of these things are in themselves "seeing our true
nature." Which is a rather simple nonthing when one gets down to it.

Without "our" awareness, where is the world, our thoughts, "us"?
