Thanks for writing!  For my part, kundalini led to increased transparency of  
the ego, till one marvelous day the individual self was seen for the illusion  
it is and the Self was shining through.  I did not pursue kundalini rising, it  
just happened.  There are many Self-realized people who do not seem to have  
undergone a kundalini awakening, and many who are kundalini awake but not  
Self-realized.  I'm going to guess that kundalini awakening has to do with the  
subtle body and Self-realization is truth absolute.  Kundalini is superb for  
"polishing the mirror" so that the Light may be known.  Holly
