the way to look at it now is,
Why do i fear he/she will get addicted to me/my
energy?
Remember what you are internally, is the energy you
radiate...and hence they arent different...so if they
love you for your shakti, they love you for you....
Ask why people get addicted to you? in some way, you
think you have this shakti that will save them....they
sense it...
remember, you can't save anyone's soul...
you need to save yours first.
Start with you....build a relationship of trust and
love with the true inner you....you wont need any
needy souls around anymore....this will empower the
ones around you and the ones that have too much karma
will go away automatically.
so, the addiction-less life begins with accepting
responsibility that you want them to be addicted\.
Doesnt make you a bad person, just somewhere during
growth and development, you thought that you needed to
take care of people and they needed your
sympathy...perhaps starting with your parents or
siblings...
