Chris writing
I was fortunate enough to see Eckhart and meet him when he was in London at
Alternatives last year. Also lucky enough to get a place for his retreat in
Denmark this year. Everything said about him in the post is true.
I have read the books ( so many of them) and been to several masters in
India but Eckhart has brought about the most profound changes to my life. In
the main I am at peace with myself and the world through being present in
the Now and
in total acceptance of what arises in the moment. I would advise anyone to
read The Power of Now by Eckhart and if possible go see him or failing that
get a video.
The only other teacher who has really got to me is Ramesh Balsekar the
Advaita Sage. I saw him in India last November. His book "Confusion No More"
is great.
He explains ego as Divine hypnosis. Its there to fool you into thinking you
seperate from God and all others. There would be no duality no play without
it.
We would all awake enlightened to find ourselves One but for the ego.
Kundalini slowly ( in some cases its extremely rapid) but surely disolves
the ego.
Thanks for typing up the full interview.
Regards Chris
