Subject: [K-list] fire and heat

Hi guys,

i was wondering whether some of you can relate to a phenomenon that i
observed with myself lately:
This conditioning to stay away from fire or boiling water with my body seems
to be gone.
We have a wood stove and i have to remind myself constantly that i CAN"T go
into the flame with my hand.
I don't have this instinct to stay away from the fire at all any longer.
Some days ago i was cooking spaghetti and i wanted to find out whether they
are soft enough. I just went into the boiling water with my hand and pulled
one spaghetti out. When i had in in my hand i all of a sudden went: wait a
minute. What did i just do?
My hand was fine........and it seems to be fine in a flame also........
but i was even more surprised about the lack of " instinct" that " should "
keep my hand out of boiling water or flames in the woodstove.

anybody else having something like that going on?
