Mark, that's a wonderful idea, but not really what I meant. Perhaps I
didn't explain very well.

My question was much more basic. What I'm wondering is why some people
get incredibly blissful experiences that leave no doubt while others
don't. Sure, I can take a sacred shower and feel all grateful, but
that's not exactly an ego-ripping experience.

I have no doubt that I'm learning from Kundalini. I don't know what it
might be right now, but I'm sure it knows what it's doing. But it
seems to me that all the feelings of separateness and longing we have
can be blown out by one good spiritual experience, which I know Shakti
is capable of giving.

I've read about many people over the years who, when their Shakti is
activated, they know from then on that they're on a very sacred
spiritual journey. Then there are those of us whose activation
consists of physical tweaks, jerks, rushes, pranayamas, etc., which can
be easily confused for some weird medical condition. For those of us
in the second category, the journey isn't half as interesting or fun,
and it's more like an episode of ER rather than enlightenment.

So, rather than say that it's just my perception (which I know
intellectually), what do we do to experience the more spiritual side of
Shakti awakening? It's easy to tell me that I'm not having these
experiences because I'm perceiving a separateness, but that knowledge
changes nothing for me in practical terms. I'm still sitting here with
my scalp crawling, wondering if I need to start using a dandruff
shampoo. Instead, if I were to have a bliss experience, all doubt
would be gone and I'd probably be able to grow a lot faster knowing
that I really am touched by the sacred.

Does this make any sense?

Morgan
