Man is in the process of evolution. Widening of his
consciousness is gradual. However, throughout the
history of humanity, there have been extraordinary
geniuses manifesting newer dimensions of both
subjective and objective worlds. Their ability for
such manifestation is ascribed to their superior
mental activity. At the same time, it has been
calculated that the greatest geniuses themselves had
not been allowed to use more than 8% of the total
brainpower. The hidden potentiality of brain and mind
is enormous. The Nature has its own chance and
necessity to endow each individual with unique
physical and mental capacity.

Objectivity is man´s uniqueness. Man is objective of
both external world and internal subject. Objectivity
of subject makes man a special species.

Objectivity of one´s body and mind gives enormous
insights. Objectivity, both external and internal,
depends upon the individual subject´s objective
faculties. Sensory perceptions, assimilations and
interpretations depend upon the life energy of the
nerves, connected to the senses and the brain.

Indian yogis through their incessant observation of
the self, both body and mind, found that there is an
inherent potentiality in human being to reach higher
consciousness, to have new dimensions of both the
worlds, external and internal. They found that there
is a fountain of vital energy located at the base of
the spine. They called it Kundalini or Mooladhara.
This fountain supplies the energy to all the parts of
the body, including brain. Most of the energy during
its passage is absorbed by the vital organs and only a
small quantity of energy reaches brain. Recurring
emotions and thoughts channel this even small quantity
of vital energy in to the worn out circuits.

They found that certain postures of the physical body
can, with less vital energy, strengthen the vital
organs. They found that full breathing or pranayama
can increase the speed or volume of flow of vital
energy from Kundalini. They found also that meditation
could allow more vital energy flowing into the brain.
Thus larger area of brain can get the vital energy to
get activitated. Once gets activated, new brain nerves
continue to function casually and the resultant
effects are deeper objectivity, wider consciousness
and greater creativity.

What is this Kundalini? Where it has come from?

The very other name of Kundalini, Mooladhara gives the
best clue. Mool means the basic or fundamental. Adhara
means support. Combined together it means Basic
Support’. This Mooladhara or Kundalini is present from
the very conception. What is the base or basis for
conception? OVUM! When a sperm pierces into ovum,
creating a hole on the surface of the ovum, fuses with
the nucleus of the ovum and lies relatively still.
Immediately, the nucleus of the ovum starts its
momentum and supplies vital energy for the growth of
baby. It seems that the nucleus remains at the center
of the ball and continues to supply material and
energy for the growth. The sperm´s head slowly rises
up and rests near the hole it created. The sperm´s
head, with its own nucleus transforms into brain and
its body and tail becomes the spine and backbone.
Nearer to the tail is located the nucleus of the ovum,
constantly feeding the growing being. Kundalini or
Mooladhara is the nucleus of the Ovum transformed and
brain is the nucleus of the sperm transformed. Both
these nuclei become two important centers in the human
being namely, Mooladhara and Sahasrara. Kundalini is
always referred to as female aspect and Sahasrara as
male aspect.

I hope the above is the biological basis for
Kundalini.

TWICE BORN:

Brahmins are said to be twice born. Why? May be they
are taught the secrets of Kundalini awakening. During
Sacred Thread Wearing Ceremony, they are taught
Gayathri Manthra, which is invoking Kundalini. The
thread is of three parts indicating three nadis,
Sushmana, Ida and Pingala. When Kundalini is awakened
that is when the relatively dormant nucleus of the
ovum is awakened, it slowly ascends upward to reach
the nucleus of the sperm, the brain´s center. When
these two nuclei join again, there occur tremendous
changes in the body and consciousness. Body is
enormously energized and the consciousness becomes
wider and perceptive to the hitherto unknown
dimensions of reality. That´s why the Brahmins are
called twice born.

The above thoughts came to me while reading a book
called Kundalini by Pandit Gopi Krishna, raising
questions about Kundalini. I feel the above is
preliminarily satisfactory.

When Kundalini is seen in this perspective, a lot of
riddles about Kundalini can be easily solved.

Though this looks like an easy resolution, still a lot
has to be thought over for substantiation.

I think Arundale´s book and JK´s Philosophy can also
be explained from the above perspective in a concrete
manner.

In discussion, this can be further proved.
