You are speaking from the physical perspective, right? If healing -- or sickness -- can occur at the physical level we may have a "fighting" ;-) chance at healing. It is my opinion that the physical body is created from the ego and our real "selves" occur at an electromagnetic level. In other words, physical is not real, our spirit or our soul or our chakra level is...the real thing. Physical ends, spirit is eternal. To heal, or to be made One, comes from the Mind. And as of this writer's writing, that has yet to be defined.
Again, IMO, karma canNOT be carried in the physical and if one defines karma as past thinking, past deeds, etc., I would think of that as guilt. And, as guilt is not of Spirit, it doesn't exist.
This is my opinion too -- be as kind to yourself as you are to your horses. ;-) Oh, and BTW, if you'd like a good and convincing read on this, get Dr. Valerie Hunt's book, "Infinite Mind." Exceptional.

Karma
I have some interesting theories on this subject. I base this on
the emotional family histories that I am aware of, the emotional
healing of people and freinds and lovers who have come in and out of
my life, and my own long and often painful healing process. I also
wish to introduce knowledge gained through years of breeding horses
and observing the emotional lives of these wonderful animals.
Emotional experiences in life are recorded on a cellular level
both good from our good experiences and bad through the emotionaly
damaging experiences. We know that our bodies are constantly
rejuvenating themselves as cells die and new cells replace them. I
have observed directly total recall of events over thirty years prior
where the pain and events sre experienced as if they were just taking
place. the entire body is completly involved in this reliving of
pain. A for instance an adult who was raped analy as a child and
buried the experience relives the experience not as a visual memory
of the event but as apain in the anus so intense as to cause them to
go to the hospital only to find nothing physicaly wrong. I conclude
from this that cells pass on the emotional trauma geneticily to the
cells replacing the dying cells.
The logical conclusion to my mind is that the process of
reproduction also passes on the emotional life of the parents to the
off spring ( perhaps a different way of defining carma ) on a broader
scale we must logicaly see that we are the accumulated experience of
all our ancestors. If we go back just 50 generations we have
1,025,876,889,780,224 direct parental ancestors and that is one pile
of pain and love all mixed together. I have watched this inherited
process with horses. An off spring of a stallion with dominate genes
will pass on the emotional state of himself to off spring who never
see or know their fathers. A stallion who has recieved emotional
healing from past traumas will pass on a healed genetic memory to his
off spring.
I personaly believe that the capacity of living beings to pass on
the emotional memories from one generation to the next is the driving
force behind evolution and not the random selection that is generaly
believed. This theory of memory being passed geneticaly would explain
past lives with a vast pool of lives available within each of us.
The burning of karma then would make a great deal of sense to
me and is the same process of healing our emotions that we have a
number of different names for throughout all cultures. there is no
doubt that Kundalini is a driving force behind burning of karma.
Having had the experience of holding back the process of healing I
know that the full power of Kundalini is available to one who refuses
but the potential of being imballenced and having painfull lesson
drawing attention to the resistance to healig is highly likely. I
must leave to care for horses and must send this without rewriting or
I will lose it.
