Yeah! There is little more frustrating than watching people we love make
(what we consider are) mistakes--especially if we've been there ourselves! :)
The anger we feel may partly be due to a feeling of helplessness.

 I think it's important, though, to keep lines of communication open with
family members, and the fact that she has been able to accept your path means a
certain amount of openness/willingness to change. Remember, too, that even
though you see it as rubbish, that it may be what she needs at this stage in her
life. Many cults provide a social framework that is comforting. Enjoy the
fact you are still in close contact! :))
