It seems most likely that something about your 
physical practices in aikido or chi gung may 
be causing or contributing to your neck pain. 
It may be helpful to have experienced teachers 
of these two arts look at how you are moving 
your body, in particular your shoulder girdle 
and head. Chiropractic can be a great help 
for this. Keep in mind that there are two 
kinds of chiropractic (at least) - traditional 
and network. You might like to look into these 
two forms of chiropractic and see which one 
would be better for your situation. 
 
Good luck with resolving the neck pain...
