Dear Rich and All,

With respect, anything anyone describes, writes about or talks about is only
from a mere human perspective. IOW, none of it exists. I, personally,
don't believe karma exists. Why would it? How can it? How can the Virgin
Mary or Kali exist <now> if they've always existed in this moment? This is
the question, see? Why would guilt exist if we're divine creation?

Time is severely in a slowed-down state for us humans to perceive. Actually,
it doesn't exist. The latest scientific articles about the "dark"
(wooooooo) energy usurping the "light" (ahhhhhhhh) is, IMO, ridiculous too.
Granted, some extremely enlightened and probably awakened scientists have
glimpsed beyond Einstein's and Bohr's "realities" as we see them today.
However, lookit!! The point of what I'm trying to say is that if nothing
concerning our egos (mistaken identities) exists, then our Gods and Godesses
don't exist either. Personally, I think only "glue" exists. This is my
opinion, granted, take it or leave it.

This is the point, doncha think? We're definitely in "the matrix" albeit
not the movie. As we come out the other end, in time ha ha, we're all
simply going to be. Kali is a symbol of a symbol of a symbol...or glyph, or
whateveryoumaywanttocallit. Fertility has nothing to do with being...to me.
Perhaps "attachment" to this earthly being equates to fertility...yuck is
what I say.

I'm probably missing the point. Most times I do. I'm in a most awful
"human" state right now and altho' I'd rather watch the quail and the
clouds, experiencing Kali in all Her glory, may be heaven.

Regards,

Hety

"It has been said that Kali is "the divine Shakti representing both the
creative and destructive aspects of nature", and as such she is a goddess
who both gives life and brings death. Clothed only with the veil of space,
her blue-black nakedness symbolizes the eternal night of non-existence, a
night that is free of any illusion and distinction. Kali as such is pure and
primary reality (the enfolded order in modern physics); formless void yet
full of potential. It is therefore not surprising that this goddess is also
the foremost among the Mahavidya, the ten most powerful and important
goddesses of the Indian pantheon."

I read elsewhere that the ten other goddesses are sometimes shown to
surround Kali. Kali seems primary and the most powerful. I find it
interesting how the other goddesses came to be (was it peoples
interpretations and segmentation of aspects of Kali?) and how are they
interacted with if they need to be at all.
