SMALLER AND Smaller and smaller.


A blade of grass in the meadow
The wave upon the shore
A skylark in flight with his shadow
A droplet of dew in the morn'
A dove cries out a warning
To the new born fawn in the field
An instant within an instant
A phenomenon
in its own time.
Growing smaller
and smaller
and smaller
Until I am inside it
Enveloped in
Each blade of grass
Every wave crashing the shore
Surrounded by
The anguished cry of the dove
The breath of the new born fawn
Enclosed within
The graceful flight of the bird
The droplet of morning dew
As slowly I continue
Growing smaller
Yet smaller
And smaller
Increasingly
I feel
As though
Transcendentally
Larger
