hi everyone,
i was a k-list member a while back when it was still a yahoo group, and just
re-entered the stream
this is a patchwork email
was wondering if any folks out there are into sri aurobindo. i have been
attending a school founded on his integral yoga for over a year now (CIIS --
sort of where integral studies meets psychotherapy), we don't really
study/practice it directly in my course so i just got around to picking up
some of his words, more of an undercurrent blueprint of the school.
i have been kind of out of it lately, this past year, due to wierd
happenings like fatal car crashes, so i have sort of felt like i had fallen
from grace, or more like job trudging around just trying to stay alive and
heal...which is why i have been off list, but i'm glad to be back!!
reading a little aurobindo has felt like a leg up from the divine
despite my year of mud and fertilizer, i did manage to eek out one shakti
poem, so y'all can have it by way of saying hello:
Shakti On Shakti
An Homage To Lesbian Tantra
Two married to timeless essence;
we meet where there is One of us.
Her Pure Being
entered into my creative body;
She is the fire of your ingénue,
I witness your secret act,
You unfold of pleasure.
For Joy of your fulfillment, I cry,
and turn each tear to offerings
of Joy for your fulfillment,
you unfold of pleasure, I cry deities.
Animated Serpent,
how do two Wholes unite?
Each uniting inward
in winding sensation
of transgender constellating
our growth.
We watch the creative act
in each other,
while we feel it inwardly
transcend into timeless
similarity.
