Hi Victori,

It seems to me from what you've written that you are a sensible and
sensitive person. You have perceived on you own that the time has not
arrived yet for this stage of your path [the unfoldment of the Kundalini].

But I would hasten to say that there are LOTS of really exciting and
beneficial things that you can be doing right now which will hasten the day
when it will be the right time.

You have to realize that the Kundalini Light magnifies everything inside
you way out of proportion to anything you can presently imagine. If you are
a dynamic, positive never ending stream of love and mercy towards those
around you, and the Kundalini hits---great!! You become a very highly
empowered force for love, and you can single handedly make the world a
better place. If you still have within you nagging little neurosis or fear
or momentums of anger, etc. and Kundalini hits that----then you become a
non-functioning unit.

I personally engaged in a lot of very active [as opposed to a passive sort
of meditation] spiritual practices in my teens and early twenties which
have served me well to the present day. I mean active, as in using audible
affirmations coupled with intense feelings designed to strengthen the
virtues in me and to dissolve the karmic substance of my momentums of
weakness and negativity. Also, I spent most of my time magnetizing to me
the Light of the Masculine polarity--the Light from above, the I Am
Presence or Divine Monad and from my Causal Body of Light. It is harder to
tap this source of Light from the level we're at now [in physical
embodiment], but this tends to make for a slower, more gentle approach as
far as drawing light into our beings in order to effect changes within us.

One of my favorite exercises is to work with the phrase,"I AM God's Purest
Divine Love". While slowly saying this I project around and within me
(imagine) an intense white flame with bright pink highlights engulfing my
being from below my feet to above my head and for several feet out from my
physical form. I try to still my thoughts and hold this visualization for
as long as I can [while continuing to say the phrase]--all the while
feeling it and desiring it as strongly as possible. As time goes by I push
with my will to make the flame brighter and brighter until it is like an
arc welder light, blindingly bright and so tangible that I can feel it
physically--and I visualize the flame completely dissolving the old
congealed records of fear or anger which look like dark lumps in ones aura.

I never had any problems with this type of exercise. Certainly nothing like
the scary stories I have heard about people who were not ready for
Kundalini. This type of exercise will help clear your chakras and energy
pathways in a safe way. It's more work and takes longer, but I think the
benefits are worth it, and more to the point--most appropriate for the
stage you're at.

Victori, if you spend time each day with exercises like this you will find
yourself on an amazing adventure. And after you have spent some time at
this--becoming an "unusual" person, then Kundalini will decide that it is
time to make you a *highly empowered*, unusual person. There are timetables
and cycles to these things and it's a wonderful thing to be "with the
program". Make the effort--it's worth it.

Peace

Boyd
