    There is an altered state, that I call Avalon. I know when I am in it,
because all my field of vision is softly tinged with golden light, like a
Hawaiian sunset. Very beautiful, peaceful.

    For me, this space is like a rest hospital on the way to ascension. I
end up there on my way "home", when I have gotten unwisely involved in
clearing some's karma who did not complete their agreement to surrender,
and ended up in the duality-space I call Hell.

    Someone once dreamt, of coming to visit my home and not being allowed
in because of too much luggage... and it was a true dream. Avalon, is like
Eden, you cannot take your baggage with you, to go there. Attachments,
karmic issues, and fears must be left behind at the door. As the story
goes, an Angel with a fiery sword guards Eden, and only those who are
without fear may pass under it.

   I get to Avalon once I have managed to release the stuff stuck in me by
my ill-chosen karma vampirism, and let go of the emotional issues, but the
body has not yet recovered and healed itself. So, there is this time spent
abiding in the golden light of Avalon, a few weeks, till the body vibration
is caught up and can ascend again... at which point the golden colour
disappears, and I'm back to what is for me, normal vision:

   Everything made of tiny coloured specks of light, and an Escher like
distortion of lines and perspective. I don't see straight lines or flat
surfaces. For example, my floor appears to be convex, slightly higher in
the middle than at the sides, and doorways appear to be slightly twisted
trapeziods. The bottom is wider than the top, and the left side appears to
be two inches back from center, and the right side is two inches forward. I
know the door is actually straight, or it would not close... but my
perceptions have this distortion that is a symptom of my consciousness
abiding in a higher vibration of reality. I got used to it after a while
and stopped noticing.

   Oddly, despite this I have a better eye for right angles and straight
lines (been doing some carpentry) than my engineer hubby.
