Do you mean that the ego is only formed during waking consciousnes. This is
why we're not resistant, all we can do during sleep is *completely*
surrender to whatever happens. And if something very alarming does happen,
then we're forced into ego consciousness, which causes us to awake.

I don't understand.

I feel there is more to this, a great deal more that i'm not understanding,
that has value in being investigated.

Why does the Self pass on information of the future, what relevancy does it
have, what is it's higher meaning, what is it trying to communicate? And
why do these states of NOW appear to be so special just because i've already
dreamed them. Could there be a connection to the Self in that NOWness, like
a doorway to the Self, a doorway of many, or perhaps there is merely a
fragrance of the Self in that glimpse and that's the scent i'm tuning into.

I could say anything that is not the ego, just to avoid the usual Self is in
charge, not the ego type dicusssion, that would'nt help in this case, we've
already been through that one. Whoever it is it'd be nice to progress
regardless of who pulls the strings.

I'm a little surprised that no one else has experienced this, or have you?
