Dear Richard,

I'll admit I haven't been following this discussion too closely. I find it
sort
of interesting however, that many Yogis and other masters seem to have pot
bellys.--I'm thinking of the laughing Buddah, Adi da, Nityananda, many of the
Tibetan Lamas (judging from their depiction in bronzes.) Etc. etc. It doesn't
seem to have interfered with their spiritual progress. :))

Here, for instance, is a picture of A Sufi Muslim Darwish

I would guess that Hatha Yoga asanas that strengthen stomach muscles would
help protect the organs if one were to be breathing "improperly"--as would some
of the Bandhas, especially Uddiyana Bandha

I wonder, Richard, if the breathing techniques you speak about have brought
you to mystical awareness, or whether your interest is purely academic.

I think that once one is K active, breathing takes care of itself. K does
seem to regulate it, from my experience.

I'd be curious to hear of your K experiences.

Love, Hillary
