hey,

reading through all the diaphragm improving excersices, and the subsequent
discussion, i am again feeling lost. firstly because, i had learnt that a seeker
, takes the first important step , the most basic in the process of realizing
the truth, by attaining the breathless state. i.e, feed the whole body with
the prana. instead of, by lungs and heart. this is supposed to relax your
organs , improving their longetivity, and secondly, (more importantly) facilitates
the begining of the "actual" spiritual progress by abhyasa (practice) and
vairagya(detachment). it is said that till then the yogi is nowhere close to
starting out with the affair of seeking god. i can see it happening in my body.
"forgetting" the urge to breathe.(because i dont feel the necessity to breathe)
as the energy manifests itself from the absolute within me.,, but since im just
a beginner, i restart to breathe within a short peroid. (restart, not gasp
for breath).

now why is there then so much emphasis on strengthening the diaphragm?? while
actually, u need to focus on the rising prana within you as the necessity and
urge to breathe dwindles.

i figured out that u focus on ur breath to get better aquainted (develop a
better relationship ) with prana. .so the diaphraghm strengthening excercises
are to regulate and teach u to "naturally" attune ur breathe till it unites with
prana and then use the prana (life force-energry) to get a control of ur
breath. and attain the breathless state. it is only through this can u destroy
ahamkar tatwa, the veil of ego. and only then can u think of becoming a
learner.till then it is just an ego trip. and it is after this that the actual fights
with "demons" and other negative abstractions occur in ur mind.( where u need to
at times spend days in battle.)

... the reason i have written this whole story is because i dont practice any
diaphraghm strengthening excercises at all. but still i can feel recalling
the urge to breathe at longer nad longer periods of time, each time. bhavin
desai said to me that the breathless state is an advanced stage. and ive just
started with all this like yesterday.so im confused about whether im on the right
track, in my concepts or i am just fucking with time concocting and
subsequently going in circles. taking my life on a ride. with grand promises.

please do clear my confusion, i shall be obliged.as usual. and more so this
time.

untill soon,

A.
