Richard,

How long has "science" existed, relative to Yoga? What has science
found/discovered/researched that was/is not already known in Yoga? My
Grand Master (who walked from India to Europe, teaching all the way)
said that all that Europe/"The West" had given him was white hair!!!

In Yoga, the diaphragm is strengthened via Bhastrika ("The Bellows"),
which has several variations. In my Yoga Courses I refer to it as Power
Breathing, since I tend to use English equivalent words/phrases in the
UK. We also have a "Sniffing" exercise which emphasises the in breath
(whereas Bhastrika emphasises the out breath).

Bhastrika (as well as some other important Yoga exercises) is shown at

Bhavin.
