Flying has been also involved in my dreams. One master once has tought
me that this is the mental body which is flying but I might remember it
wrong.

I have the same impression. Somehow alcohol seems to open gates to the
dark side. But this is exacly what all this discussion seems to be
about - is this dark side part of ourselves or is it something external
which we should protect ourselves against? Maybe there are just two
levels of truth, namely that until being developed enough to realise
that there is no ourselve/others we should at least consider protection
as a useful mean to get along the spiritual path for a while.

Interesting you mention that. I have arranged courses and given groups
on a healing technique called Pranic Healing tought by GMCKS. In the
advanced level you use colours to make the healing more efficient. In
that dreams I use the knowledge about these colours as weapons against
these evil entities (exactly the opposite of their intended usage -
healing...).

Nearly every culture/religion has this notion of external evil beings
which try to seduce and harm mankind. But I find it interesting that
e.g. the christian church is more and more coming to interpret the
devil not as a real being but as a concept which stands for our sins
or just the absence of god or whatever. But at the end, what makes
it for a difference how we interpret all that as long as it helps us to
proceed on the path in the right direction? But in one thing I agree,
fear must not be guideline.
