Snakes, snakes every where.

Someone put a snake down my clothes just to prove that I could handle
it, then next thing I know dozens of snakes are sliding down my legs
into the sea. More than just the one placed there. They were already
there and I had been living with them all along. Part of me was OK with
the snakes and another part wanted to control everything. None of the
snakes were poisonous, I guess this was one part trying to communicate
to another that it wold be safe to experience this.

I'm wondering what the sea/water represented, as I was standing ankle
deep. Any ideas?
