Dear A.,
It sounds to me a little like a kriya. Moving the head from side to side is
one way to strengthen the neck area, allowing easier flow of the energy.
Sometimes just imagining movement can help strengthen an area.

For some reason itching seems to be a part of the K "syndrome." I have
developed an itch on my knee. Itching can be a bliss experience ;) Electrical
tingling are extremely common K phenomena.

Well, Human responses are Pavlovian at times! :)) There also seems to be
strange connections in the brain. I know that Amputees often *feel* the missing
limb. Scientists have done some studies and find that our brain maps things
in ways that don't always make sense to us--placing legs and fingers, for
instance near one another. (just a rough example--I don't remember the exact
info) I think I got it from a TV program. So we can feel sensations often where
they don't logically reside.
