Hola!

>From that point of view, the conventional, the behaviour of the butterfly ( happiness) seems strange and irrational. But if you see it from another point of view it makes all the sense. If you think that when you try to pick that butterfly is not you, but your mind pushing your body, it start to be understable why you don´t pick the butterfly. If you go further you can imagine you, your body, after being pushed lost balance and is unable to make anything correctly. And later on, when the mind has found another target and forget about the thing, mind&body as is their nature, advance together towards happiness and the butterfly comes to your shoulder. The last analogy is very important. How can be that I made the butterfly come to my shoulders if I didn´t move? When mind&body advance together there is not a visible effort or adavance ( that is why is so frustrating at the start), it is like the waves of the sea when they hover. So it is quite logic to represent it as the butterfly comes and not the body moves.

So, it is absolutely rational, logic, coherent and real. When you change the point of view everything fits.:)).

>happiness is like a butterfly,
>u run and jump to catch it.. try however hard u would , u cant (even if u do u, it will cease to look the beautiful butterfly).. when u just stop bothering about it, it will come and sit on ur shoulder by itself. and then u'll silently appresiate its glory.
>analogy might not be wholly rational,, but it gives an essence of how to view life.
