I'm sorry you missed seeing your friend!

Although David Blaine uses the name "Kundalini rising" for a certain card
trick, I can't find any other truly Kundalini references connected with Blaine on
a Google search. Perhaps his K-awakening is described only in his books.
The moderators for his e-mail list may be pretty ignorant of kundalini,
though very familiar with magic. That might explain why they were hostile and
possibly bewildered by your experience!

There is one exception re: Blaine and Kundalini--a post written by El Collie

It is not uncommon for K active people to be zapped (for lack of a better
word) by a strong personality--whether a guru or a movie star or simply someone
with incredible charisma. We are sensitive to strong energies. Judging from

A friend of mine years ago had a strange experience while attending a
Krishnamurti lecture. His disembodied face came up the aisle towards him, looking
straight at my friend. He said it was pretty amazing!

 Books and pictures of some people often also seem to carry a "charge."
Often strange synchronicities can happen in their presence.

Wonderful that Kundalini seems to have alleviated your fatigue. :))
