Hi Oyvind,

As far as meditation goes, place the attention/awareness around the belly
area (dantien/tanden).
If the energy rises too quickly this can cause discomfort , even pain in the
head. Should it become uncomfortable, shift the attention to the soles of
the feet, this will help alleviate the pressure.

I have meditated for many years and have been taught by professional
meditators( Buddhist monks! :) and have found that this advice works. Try it
yourself.

My past experience of using the brow chakra (3rd eye/ sky eye) to focus on
in meditation was most unpleasant and caused problems that lasted for a long
time.

Keeping the attention mainly centred in the dantien (tummy area) during
meditation has proved most wonderful when chi/ki/prana does rise gently
under its own steam... the most beautiful samadhis have been experienced,
though in my school of meditation (chan), samadhi is not the goal, just a
pleasant by product of the method.

With love,

Ron H
