elargonauto,

This is a good question. From my understanding and
personal experience, the answer is: it can be.

I have seen some Chi Gung masters get very weak after
healing sessions almost to the point of collapse.
Energy exchange from high concentration to low
concentration is a natural physical principle.

The key is to be grounded and use the second chakra
and breathing to bring chi back in as it is everywhere
and in all things. And in unlimited supply. In other
words, we must be adept at renewal.

I'm not a master by any means, but personally, I have
felt the drain as much as I have felt "too much". The
art of staying balanced is a process to be learned.
Breathing is a key element in the process. So is
proper grounding and that includes keeping your tongue
on the roof of your mouth so chi doesn't accumulate
too much in the head.

Cheers,
Todd
