Subject: Re: [K-list] Relying more on God
I had a "felt" sense of God all my life that disappeared twice. The first occasion was the dark night of the soul, not long after awakening, where it seemed I had been abandoned. This passed. God is gone again now, but this comes along with the gradual disappearance of the "felt" self. You have to have "self" in order to feel "other," and vice versa. This is all mystifying to me, a former theist, although not unpleasant. The spiritual path, naturally, has disappeared as well and there is only the Buddhist sense of "just this." Holly
