    I would say, no. In my experience, the soul is a tiny spark of
light, the seed of consciousness... whereas consciousness takes many
forms... cosmic consciousness, ego consciousness, etc. Often, what is
referred to as the soul is the higher self.

    No. Enlightenment, simple put, is "getting lighter". There are degrees
of enlightenment. Kundalini awakening is sometimes referred to as the
opening of enlightenment.

     Self realization is different. It is, realizing the Self, that the
silent witness within is the truth of who you are, and seeing that truth
reflected in everyone and everything. Generally, people have experiences of
Self realization, on and off until it eventually stabilizes into the normal
sense of self.
