I too have been having problems with pagans (as you can tell from my posts!)
Some of it is my own stuff, some of it is not.

I have a problem with pagan people not believing what I tell them.....they
either see me as having 'special powers' that they don't have, or not
believing me when I tell them about magical things that have happened to me.
A lot of pagan friends ask for my input on spiritual problems, and how to
make their life better, and then not only disregard what I say, but try to
convince me that I am wrong. I told one friend the key to dealing with pain
is to love the pain and give gratitude, and listen to what it is
saying......and he then tried to convince me that I was wrong, and that I
should hate the pain and attack it with psychic energy. Lord knows I tried
that in the past!! Never worked....so I stopped giving him input on his
disability, there was no point.

I suspect jealousy may be contributing to my interpersonal problems
too.....but I have no proof of that, so I cannot say for sure. It's just
marvelously convenient when you talk about your 'special gifts' and someone
claims not only to have all of them too, but to be better at them!!!! And
then tries to convince me that I'm not as great at them as I think I am, and
that it's a good thing they came along to help me develop my full potential.
They ARE special gifts from the God/dess.....I did not work at them, I was
blessed.....but some people do not want to believe that such power could
come so easily.....power belongs to God/dess.

I never stop being amazed at how people see me.......sometimes I am so
amazed, I ask them if we've met!!! Someone once called me reserved and
introverted...they did not realize I appear that way because I knew I could
not be myself around that person, and so I did not try to interact with that
person at all. It was self-preservation, not reservation. That person had
indicated they were uncomfortable with gay people, people who are not
Christian, people who are 'different'.....and I did not bother to share any
of myself with that person, so I got slapped with an 'introverted' label!!
LOL

The two friends I am having issues with have both faced a lot of hardship
and discrimination....I took it upon myself to make them feel better. I set
up an empathic union with both, and a semi-tantric union with the
other......and they do not want to take responsibility for themselves, and I
got burnt out. My own fault for not seeing them as authors of their own
destinies, and able to help themselves.

I recommend it wholeheartedly!! I have been lazy as hell with the lessons,
and still, whenever I read one, I see the principles at work in my
life....it is wonderful!!

This works for me a lot!! Sometimes merging wholeheartedly with the blockage
or pain makes it go away or stop being pain. Sometimes I have so much love
for the pain it becomes pleasure!!

This advice came along at exactly the right moment. Thank you, Mystress and
God/dess.
