[Bhavin Desai] I find this an interesting "pattern match" with two other
incidents. In the classic "Autobiography of a Yogi", Yogananda notes
that (one of his eventual) teachers called him "Swami Ji", before
Yogananda himself had become a master or even had any thoughts about
being a master. He was a bit surprised and didn't believe it.
Similarly, when I was in India with Swami Dev Murti Ji (during 1987), he
once called over "Swami Ji" in my direction. As one would expect, I
went through the motions of the usual cliché of looking around to see
who he was calling, but there was no one else - there was only me!!!

[Bhavin Desai] This was unusual enough for me to remember it clearly,
since Swami Dev Murti Ji does not pander to anyone's ego. Therefore,
there must have been some significance.

[Bhavin Desai] Today (before writing this email), as I was driving over
to pick my children up from school, my attention was drawn to a white
van with the number plate "T468 JCK". This was significant as
(T46=tag?), 8=B, JCK=Jack. That is "Be Jack". It seemed to be a
suggestion that I should be like my teacher.
