However, in my present circumstances there is not enough
space/time/money available for this activity/project.

When I was school/college/university, I spent long periods of time in
libraries/bookshops/home reading through the yoga/philosophy/etc
sections. At first I was very intellectual and philosophical. Then the
influence of my teachers and grandteacher made me more practical.
Nowadays, in my courses I emphasise the importance of a balance between
theory and practice, each aspect helping to progress the other.
Visualise a rotating double helix of theory and practice.
