Just woke up having had a dream about a snake. Did this dream necessarily
have any mystical significance just because it's central theme was a snake?

Basically it seemed to be my snake. It was only a little one.... very thin
and short, about the length of my forearm. Similar to a grass snake. It
seemed to be my snake as I was showing it to my mum and brother. Even though
I had it on my arm I was quite scared of it. I didn't fully trust it but I
didn't want to put it down either. I was caught in two minds. I kind of knew
it couldnt hurt me but I couldnt shake this fear as much as I wanted to hold
it and love it without any fear. I wanted to befriend it but the fear was
getting in the way. Then the snake slid off my arm and onto the floor. As it
moved across the floor really fast I chased after it. I really didn't want it
to get away.... I wasn't pleased it was gone. I watched as it disappeared
under the skirting board. As I was down on the carpet on my hands and knees
chasing the snake across the floor I saw millions of little flees jumping up
and down up to 6 inches off the carpet. Yuckk! My mum and brother seemed to
be just sitting and watching the whole thing and not really an active part of
the dream.

hmmmmm..... what does this dream mean....... if anything :)
